AHA provided associate project support for the Everglades Restoration effort being completed by the Army Corps of Engineers.
AHA installed the 7 ft. high 1300 ft. security fence and gates in a secure weapons area. The location was an identified IR site on NAS Jacksonville. Work included demolition of an existing fence. The fence was grounded and tested as per contract and passed above standard.
AHA is working on a design/build to provide improvements to Child Street, NAS Jax, by widening the entire roadway, adding turn lanes and affiliated traffic signals, and improving existing storm drainage systems.
AHA installed a new fire hydrant at NAS Jacksonville building 924. Work included connecting to main waterline, installing approx. 1000’ of 6” underground pipe, removal and repair of asphalt pavement, and all field tests to ensure the fire hydrant conformed to appropriate requirements. Grassed all disturbed area.
AHA removed & disposed of existing asphalt sidewalk and installed 2430 linear feet of 6000 P S I concrete sidewalk including the placement of expansion and control joints and an appropriate slope at the intersection of the sidewalk and two driveways.
AHA was hired to assemble a design-build team to remove and replace a 110-ton chiller at NOSC, Tampa with a new high efficiency SMART chiller system. AHA replaced the existing pumps and installed new piping, electronics and circuit breaker system. AHA completed duct cleaning in a 40,000 sq. ft. building as well. AHA commissioned the new system and provided system training.
AHA has been awarded an IDIQ for multiple task orders that include HVAC work to buildings B350and B450, renovation to the women’s locker room, and refurbishment to the hangar door to B-1343.
In the Osceola National Forest, AHA completed the renovation of the main sewer system at the Ocean Pond area including the creation of a new sanitary mound and replacement of all pumps and sanitary washouts and corresponding electric wiring. Work also included site clearing and road repaving.
AHA was the prime subcontractor for renovation and rehabilitation of a large school. AHA’s work included demolition, concrete work, framing and stucco work, landscaping and irrigation, and masonry.
